Terms of sale

ARTICLE 1 – Scope

These Terms and Conditions of Sale apply, without restriction or reservation, to all sales concluded by Edmond Veltor ("the Seller") with consumers and non-professional buyers ("Customers") wishing to purchase products offered for sale on www.edmondveltor.com.

ARTICLE 2 – Products Available for Sale

The products available for sale on www.edmondveltor.com are as follows :

Automatic watch winders
Luxury watch boxes
Premium watch accessories

ARTICLE 3 – Validity of Product Offers

Product offers are subject to available stock, as specified at the time of placing the order.

In accordance with the Data Protection Act and GDPR, Customers have the right to access, rectify, object to, erase and port their personal data by writing to the address above.

ARTICLE 5 – Orders

5-1. Placing an Order

Customers may review their order details, total price and correct any errors before confirming their order on www.edmondveltor.com.

The sale is only finalised once Edmond Veltor has sent the Customer an order confirmation email.

Edmond Veltor reserves the right to refuse orders of more than 5 items of the same product.

5-2. Modifying an Order

Any modifications to an order must be notified by email to support@edmondveltor.com at least 24 hours before the scheduled dispatch date.

If modifications cannot be accepted, any amounts paid will be refunded within a maximum of 14 days.

5-3. Cancelling an Order

Orders may be cancelled by the Customer at least 24 hours before the scheduled delivery date, free of charge.

ARTICLE 6 – Pricing

Products are sold at the prices shown on www.edmondveltor.com at the time of placing the order. Prices are stated in British Pounds Sterling (£), inclusive of all taxes, and include processing, packaging, and delivery costs.

ARTICLE 7 – Payment Terms

Payment is due in full at the time of placing the order, via secure payment, using the following methods :

Credit/Debit Card : Visa, MasterCard, American Express
Apple Pay
Shop Pay

ARTICLE 8 – Delivery

Products will be delivered to the United Kingdom.

Orders are delivered within an average of 3 to 7 working days to the address provided by the Customer at the time of ordering.

If products have not been delivered within 30 days of the estimated delivery date, for any reason other than force majeure or fault of the Customer, the sale may be cancelled upon written request from the Customer.

Edmond Veltor assumes all risks associated with transport and is liable to refund the Customer in the event of damage caused during delivery.

ARTICLE 9 – Transfer of Ownership and Risk

Ownership of products will only transfer to the Customer upon receipt of full payment. Products are transported at the Seller's risk.

ARTICLE 10 – Right of Withdrawal

In accordance with applicable legislation, Customers have 30 days from receipt of their product to exercise their right of withdrawal, without needing to provide any reason or pay any penalty.

Returns must be made in their original condition and complete (packaging, accessories, instructions), accompanied by the purchase invoice. Return postage is free of charge.

Refunds will be processed within 14 days of the Seller being notified of the withdrawal decision.

ARTICLE 11 – Seller's Liability – Warranty

Products sold on www.edmondveltor.com benefit from :

The statutory warranty of conformity for defective or damaged products
The statutory warranty against hidden defects

Edmond Veltor will refund or replace any products deemed non-conforming or defective within 14 days of the defect being identified.

ARTICLE 12 – Personal Data Protection

Personal data collected from Customers is necessary for order processing. Customers have the right to access, modify, rectify and object to the use of their information by contacting support@edmondveltor.com.

ARTICLE 13 – Intellectual Property

The content of www.edmondveltor.com is the property of Edmond Veltor and is protected by French and international intellectual property laws.

ARTICLE 14 – Unforeseen Circumstances

These Terms and Conditions expressly exclude the statutory provisions on unforeseen circumstances set out in Article 1195 of the French Civil Code.

ARTICLE 15 – Force Majeure

Neither party shall be held liable if the failure to perform any obligation arises from a case of force majeure within the meaning of Article 1218 of the French Civil Code.

ARTICLE 16 – Governing Law and Language

These Terms and Conditions of Sale are governed by French law.

ARTICLE 17 – Disputes

All disputes shall be submitted to the competent courts of Rennes, France.

ARTICLE 18 – Pre-contractual Information and Customer Acceptance

Placing an order on www.edmondveltor.com constitutes full and unreserved acceptance of these Terms and Conditions of Sale.
